Who we are
The Case Tracker at hil-casetracker.com is operated by Pierre Gremillion, attorney, doing business as Honest Injury Lawyers, 3500 N. Hullen St., Metairie, LA 70002, 888-850-8549.
What we collect
Information you give us as a client or prospective client: name, phone, email, address, date of birth, details about your accident and injuries, medical records and bills, insurance information, documents you upload, and messages you send us. Information generated in representing you: case status, correspondence, and records we obtain on your behalf. Technical information when you use the site: device, browser, IP address, and sign-in timestamps, used for security and to keep an audit trail of access to your file.
How we use it
To represent you: investigating your claim, obtaining records, communicating with insurers and providers, and keeping you informed through your Client Portal, email, phone, and text. To secure your file: every access to your information is logged. To meet our professional and legal obligations as attorneys.
Text messaging (SMS)
If you consent to receive texts, we send case-related messages only. We do not sell, rent, or share your phone number or text-message opt-in information with third parties or affiliates for their marketing purposes. You may opt out at any time by replying STOP. See our Text Message Terms.
Who we share it with
Only as needed to represent you — medical providers, insurers, courts, experts, co-counsel or referral counsel working your case (who are bound by the same confidentiality duties), and the service providers that run our systems (database hosting, email, text delivery), each bound to keep it confidential. We do not sell your information. We share it with others only with your consent or as the law or the rules of professional conduct require.
Attorney–client confidentiality
Information you share with us as a client is protected by the attorney–client privilege and our duty of confidentiality under the Louisiana Rules of Professional Conduct, which go beyond this policy.
Security
Your file is stored in an encrypted, access-controlled database. Clients see only their own file; attorneys see only the files they work. We use two-factor authentication on our systems and keep backups.
Your choices
You can review and update your contact information in your Client Portal, ask us for a copy of your file, and opt out of texts (STOP) or emails (unsubscribe link) at any time. Opting out of messages doesn't affect your representation.
Retention
We keep client files as long as required by the Louisiana Rules of Professional Conduct and our record-retention obligations, then dispose of them securely.
Children
The Case Tracker is for adults. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18 except as a parent or guardian provides it in connection with a minor's claim.
Changes
We'll post any changes here with a new effective date.
